Huracan Diving Lodge
Huracan Diving Lodge is an exclusive retreat on its own private eco-island, Long Caye, just 15 minutes from the Great Blue Hole, Half Moon Caye, and some of Belize’s best dive sites. While I haven’t dove with Huracan in a few years, I still highly recommend this lodge. It feels like stepping into Casablanca, with frothy bed hangings, beautiful dark wood floors, and an unmistakable old-world charm. The diving is spectacular, the lodge itself is stunning, and the food is thoughtful and delicious. This is the kind of place you come to truly kick back, relax, soak up the island vibe—and dive.
